Telecommunications and Networking
People, corporations, and governments actively seek telecommunications professionals to design, manage and secure networks and telecommunications systems. These professionals need in-depth knowledge of more than just the technology – they need to understand the people and institutions who will utilize and benefit from that technology.
The graduate program in Telecommunications and Networking offers a Master of Science, a PhD, and a Certificate of Advanced Study (CAS) for students who want to gain the critical skills and knowledge to be a leader in the global telecommunications field. Our courses cover topics such as network design and management, systems and wireless systems, network security, management and policy, and human communication and information processing. As part of the curriculum, the Telecommunications and Networking program invites a diverse array of speakers to the iSchool to present on the most current topics in research and industry.
